Types of Cat Sleep
Cats have two sleep phases. Light sleep (the 'cat nap') lasts 15–30 minutes — ears still twitch, they wake easily. Deep sleep lasts 5–15 minutes. You can tell deep sleep by whisker twitching and paw movements (REM sleep).
